Most of the options on the BUSI Menu require JavaScript enabled browser such as Netscape Communicator version 4.7 and higher or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher. Popup Windows must be enabled to perform some functions.
To check your browser, see below. You can also access the BUSI system on campus at one of the BUSI kiosks or in the computer pods.

To check your browser version:
For Netscape Navigator -
- Select 'Help' from the browser menu bar.
- Select 'About Communicator' from the help menu.
- The version is displayed following the words 'Netscape Communicator' at the top
of the screen.
For Internet Explorer -
- Select 'Help' from the browser menu bar.
- Select 'About Internet Explorer' from the help menu.
- The version is identified by 'Version:' followed by a series of numbers.
The latest browser versions are available for download by clicking on the desired icon:
To enable JavaScript:
For Netscape Navigator -
- Select 'Edit' from the browser menu bar.
- Select 'Preferences' from the edit menu.
- Click on 'Advanced' under the category pane on the left
side of the Preferences window.
- Click on 'Enable JavaScript' so that a checkmark appears
in the option select box.
- Click on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the Preferences window.
- Click this link to try again after you have enabled
JavaScript.
For Internet Explorer -
- Select 'View or Tools' from the browser menu bar.
- Select 'Internet Options' from the view menu.
- Select 'Security' tab of internet options.
- Choose 'Custom' level and click on 'Settings' .
- Scroll to 'Scripting' in the security settings.
- Choose 'Enable' under 'Active scripting' and click 'OK'.
- Reset to desired security level in the security tab and click 'OK'.
- Click this link to try again after you have enabled
JavaScript.
