The University has assigned you a Binghamton University e-mail address and a temporary password. You will need to retrieve both in order to access your e-mail. As a new student you will need your 9 digit BU Student ID number and your TAC (Temporary Access Code) to verify your identity.

Steps to Signing on to Email at Binghamton University

1. To retrieve Your E-Mail Address: Click "Here".
1. Sign on using your 9 digit BU Student ID number and TAC.
2. Please read and accept the "Computer and Network Usage Policy" (required)
3. Your e-mail address will then be displayed.
4. Click on “Logoff” and you will return to this Welcome page.
2. To retrieve Your Password: Click "Here".
1. Sign on again using your 9 digit BU Student ID Number and TAC.
2. Write down your e-mail address and password (because you may forget them) and keep in a safe, secure place.
3. Once again, “Logoff”

Access Your E-Mail from the Web:
You can access your e-mail anywhere using the Internet. Simply go to http://webmail.binghamton.edu and sign in using your userID and password. You may also go through the BUSI website at http://busi.binghamton.edu and click on "Check E-Mail."
